Once we gain a different way to see our events, we are also able to gain strengths that we didn't know we have. The decision and power to change, is living within us. The way we own our actions and emotions help us to find meaning, for one single purpose, to live. And the very act of forgiveness comes from a collective consciousness of this power.

— Karen Wong, Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Does mental health works?

Medication does not outright cure mental illness but it may help with the management of symptoms. However, medication paired with psychotherapy is the most effective way to promote recovery.

At New Health, we put various interventions and mental health approaches to psychotherapy including but not limited to Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic & Existential Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Integrative Holistic Therapy.
